Gurit, a Switzerland-based company specializing in advanced composite solutions for wind energy, marine, and other industries has become the latest international company to set up an unit at Oragadam. Coming up at an investment of Rs 250 crore on plant and machinery, the plant will provide direct employment to 300 people.

All Gurit wind-related activities like mold making, manufacturing solutions, extrusion of recycled PET, engineering, and customizing of core material kits will be done at this facility. It will also be Gurit’s biggest manufacturing plant.
